She showed me where the bathroom was, when the guys only knew of the men’s room. She smiled at me, and she knew just what to say to put me at ease on my new job. She laughed at me and with me. She showed me the ropes and it didn’t take long for me to learn how to be cute and charming, just like her! This was almost five years ago.
Annette. Better known now as Ms. Nette these days. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long already, but when I look at her family, it reminds me of her excitement when her oldest, now nine, was about to start kindergarten. We laughed, she cried, or maybe not that time, but she’s a crier so safe to assume, she did. She has been there for me since we first met. She is a part of my family. She’s been there while I was married, she was there during the divorce. She’s been there. There are things about me that only she could answer, and I’m blessed to call her my friend.
Annette was my photography guinea pig! She is the very first person I photographed! Seriously, she was, and I had no clue what I was doing. We were out by the lake at my house, and I was a nervous wreck. We got some beautiful photographs that day, but oh how much has changed since then. I’ve watched her grow up (she’s older than me, by 7months and 2days, but who’s counting). We’re so close that I actually told her, before she even knew, that she was expecting her second child. It was a funny story, but because she’ll kill me, I won’t post here! She is my sister from another mother, and I thank God for her and her family daily.
So now that her family has expanded, it was time for a family photo session of course! Some of you may remember seeing her maternity session or Clair’s newborn session , or maybe a few birthday celebrations for the boys. So here’s a little preview from our session today… Nothing short of fun chasing kids!
I love my so called JOB! Fall sessions are in full effect, have you booked your appointment yet? Visit us at the website and get in on our November Family Session Special! BeU Photography
